  • 2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Wash and thinly slice the Yukon Gold potatoes. In a large bowl, mix the heavy cream and chicken broth.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant. Gradually whisk in the cream mixture and stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the potatoes followed by half of the Alfredo sauce. Repeat with remaining potatoes and sauce.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
