- 1 cup Buttermilk (Chilled)
- 3 tablespoons Unsalted Butter (Chilled)
- 3 tablespoons Honey

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, cardamom, and cloves until well combined.
- Cut in cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in grated apple and buttermilk until just combined—do not overmix.
- Turn out dough onto a floured surface; gently knead five times. Roll out to about ½ inch thick and cut with a biscuit cutter.
- Place on a baking sheet and bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- While baking, melt butter in a saucepan; stir in honey and salt to create the glaze.
- Brush glaze generously over warm biscuits before serving.
