- 1 – 2 tablespoons apple cider
Instructions
- Reduce the apple cider in a saucepan over medium heat until it reaches ¼ cup; let cool.
- Brown the butter in another saucepan over low heat, then cool.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cornstarch, spices, and salt in one bowl.
- In a separate bowl, combine cooled brown butter and sugars; mix in egg, reduced cider, and vanilla.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined; let rest.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Scoop dough onto the sheet and bake for 9–11 minutes until edges are set.
