  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • Corn or flour tortillas
  • Fresh cilantro (for garnish)
  • Diced onion (for garnish)
  • Lime wedges (for serving)
  • Pico de gallo, salsa verde, or guacamole (for topping – optional)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together lime juice, orange juice, olive oil, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Marinate the flank steak in the mixture for at least 30 minutes or up to overnight in the refrigerator.
  3. Preheat your grill over medium-high heat.
  4. Grill the marinated steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side until desired doneness is reached.
  5. Allow the meat to rest for 10 minutes before slicing against the grain into thin strips.
  6. Warm tortillas briefly on the grill and assemble tacos by adding steak and desired toppings.
