- 1 Earl Grey tea bag (or 1 teaspoon loose leaf)
- 4–5 fresh cherries, pitted and halved
- 2 teaspoons vanilla syrup
- 1/2 cup milk (any type)
- 1 cup water
- 1 cinnamon stick (optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine halved cherries with 2 tablespoons of water. Simmer over low heat for 3-5 minutes until soft, then mash gently to release juices.
- In another pot, bring 1 cup of water to boil and steep the Earl Grey tea for 3-5 minutes. Remove tea bag or strain out leaves.
- Add milk to the cherry mixture in the saucepan along with an optional cinnamon stick and heat gently while stirring.
- Stir in vanilla syrup into your milk-cherry mixture and strain it into your brewed tea. Mix well before serving hot or let cool for an iced version.
