  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls
  • 340 g deli chicken, thinly sliced
  • 340 g Swiss cheese, sliced
  • 60 ml unsalted butter, melted
  • 15 ml Dijon mustard
  • 2 g garlic powder
  • 10 g poppy seeds
  • 5 g dried chives
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C and lightly coat a baking dish (33 x 23 cm) with cooking spray.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, poppy seeds, dried chives, salt, and pepper.
  3. Using a serrated knife, slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally without separating them. Place the bottoms cut-side up in the baking dish.
  4. Layer half of the sliced chicken over the bottom buns, followed by Swiss cheese slices, then top with remaining chicken. Place the tops of the rolls over this filling.
  5. Generously brush the butter glaze over all the rolls.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 10 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
  7. Slice into individual sliders and serve warm.
