Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 12 ounces fettuccine
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook fettuccine in a large pot of salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water and drain.
  2. Steam broccoli in the same pot for about 3-4 minutes until bright green and crisp; set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper; cook until golden brown and fully cooked (about 6-7 minutes per side). Let rest before slicing.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Add cream, whisking until slightly thickened. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted; season to taste.
  5. Toss cooked fettuccine with the Alfredo sauce, then fold in broccoli and sliced chicken. Use reserved pasta water to adjust consistency if needed.
