  • 4 tsp minced ginger
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup low sodium soy sauce
  • ½ cup beef broth
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 6 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 12 oz linguine noodles
  • Green onions and toasted sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the lean ground beef with ginger and garlic until cooked through. Drain excess fat.
  2. Meanwhile, boil salted water in a large pot and cook linguine until al dente.
  3. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, beef broth, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, red pepper flakes, and black pepper. Pour into the skillet with the ground beef.
  4. Let the mixture simmer for about 3 minutes to meld flavors.
  5. Drain pasta and add it to the skillet; stir well to combine everything.
  6. Serve hot garnished with diced green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
