  • 2 chicken breasts (about 400g), thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ cup hot chili sauce (such as sriracha)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 large tortillas or flatbreads
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce or cabbage
  • Optional: sliced carrots, cucumbers, and bell peppers

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together hot chili sauce, honey, vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and minced garlic to create the sauce.
  2. Mix cornstarch with water in another bowl to form a slurry.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the sliced chicken seasoned with garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper for about 6-8 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Pour the sauce over the cooked chicken and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Add the cornstarch slurry while stirring until the sauce thickens.
  5. Prepare your vegetables by slicing them into desired shapes.
  6. Warm tortillas slightly before assembling. Spread mayonnaise if desired, add lettuce and vegetables followed by the spicy chicken mixture.
  7. Roll up tightly and slice diagonally before serving.
