Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the thawed puff pastry on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring it's flat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond paste, softened butter, granulated sugar, and half of the beaten egg until smooth.
- Spread the almond mixture down the center third of the puff pastry and cut diagonal strips along both sides.
