  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 stalks green onion (sliced)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp minced ginger
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup vegetable stock
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, panko bread crumbs, egg, sliced green onion, sesame oil, minced garlic, and minced ginger until well combined.
  2. Form small meatballs and coat each in cornstarch.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook meatballs until browned on all sides, then remove from the pan.
  4. In the same pan, combine vegetable stock, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, honey, and hoisin sauce; stir well.
  5. Return meatballs to the pan and let simmer for about 8 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Prepare ramen noodles according to package instructions.
  7. Serve cooked noodles topped with meatballs and garnish with sliced green chilis and black sesame seeds.
