Description

These Greek Chicken Meatballs are a wonderful fusion of flavors that bring the essence of the Mediterranean to your dinner table. Tender and juicy, these meatballs are made with lean ground chicken and a blend of aromatic herbs, making them a healthy and delicious option for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground chicken
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground oregano
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for frying)
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, salt, black pepper, cumin, oregano, fresh dill, fresh mint, minced garlic, and lemon zest. Mix until just combined.
  2. Using a cookie dough scoop or tablespoon, portion out the mixture and shape into meatballs.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook meatballs in batches for about 3–4 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  4. Serve warm over chopped romaine lettuce with tzatziki sauce and your choice of veggies.
