  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 pound shredded brussels sprouts
  • 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1/3 cup thinly sliced green onions
  • 2 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • Juice from half a lime
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and crumble the ground beef into it. Season with garlic powder, salt, pepper, green onions, sriracha, and soy sauce. Cook until browned through; remove from skillet.
  2. Add avocado oil to the same skillet. Toss in shredded brussels sprouts and season with salt and pepper. Sauté until they soften and caramelize.
  3. Return the cooked ground beef to the skillet with the brussels sprouts. Mix in sweet chili sauce and lime juice until well combined.
  4. Serve warm over rice or your choice of side.
