  • 1 box favorite cake mix
  • 1 3.4 oz box instant pudding mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup frosting
  • Candy melts
  • Toppings (sprinkles, candy eyes)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray a 13 x 9 inch baking pan with baking spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water, and vegetable oil. Mix at medium speed for about 2 minutes.
  3. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30–40 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  4. Once cooled, crumble the cake into fine pieces and mix with frosting until combined.
  5. Form small balls from the mixture (about one inch in diameter) and chill for at least two hours on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Melt candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl at medium power in intervals until smooth.
  7. Dip lollipop sticks into melted candy melts then insert them into each chilled ball. Freeze for about 20 minutes.
  8. Dip each pop into the melted candy melts and decorate while wet.
