Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb large shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 8 oz turkey sausage (sliced)
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Fresh lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss broccoli with olive oil, salt, and pepper; roast on a baking sheet for 15 minutes.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and cook turkey sausage until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, cook shrimp for about 2-3 minutes per side until pink; remove and set aside.
  4. Lower heat and melt butter in the skillet. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, then stir in honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked sausage, shrimp, and roasted broccoli back into the skillet; toss everything to coat in the sauce and heat through for another 2 minutes.
  6. Serve hot over rice or noodles or enjoy plain.
