  • 8 oz (225g) pasta (penne or fusilli recommended)
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons freshly cracked black pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil pasta in salted water until al dente (9-11 minutes). Drain and reserve ½ cup pasta water.
  2. Slice chicken into strips. In a skillet over medium-high heat, heat olive oil, season chicken with salt, and cook until golden (4-5 minutes per side). Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant. Stir in honey, black pepper, and red pepper flakes; let bubble briefly.
  4. Return chicken to skillet, toss with sauce, then add pasta along with reserved water if needed to loosen sauce.
  5. Serve hot with fresh parsley on top.
