  • 1 lb ground chicken or turkey
  • 1 cup fresh ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, ricotta, parsley, garlic, breadcrumbs, egg, salt, and pepper until well mixed.
  3. Wet your hands and shape the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs. Place them on the prepared baking sheet with space between each.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Serve warm with marinara sauce over pasta or on their own.
