  • 2 cups peeled and diced apples
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 package refrigerated pie crusts
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the diced apples, sugars, cinnamon, flour, and lemon juice; mix until well-coated.
  3. Roll out the refrigerated pie crusts on a clean surface and cut into small circles using a cookie cutter or glass.
  4. Place half of the circles on a baking sheet and spoon apple filling onto each.
  5. Cover with the remaining circles and seal edges using a fork.
  6. Cut small slits in the top for steam vents.
  7. Brush tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
  8. Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
