  • 16 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 15 ounces pumpkin puree
  • 1 loaf brioche or challah bread
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon pumpkin spice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish with butter.
  2. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk eggs, cinnamon, pumpkin spice, milk, pumpkin puree, and sweetened condensed milk until combined.
  4. Layer half of the bread in the greased dish and spread half of the cream cheese mixture on top. Add remaining bread followed by the pumpkin mixture. Gently press down.
  5. Spread remaining cream cheese filling and sprinkle with pecan topping.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes; then remove foil and bake an additional 15 minutes until golden.
