Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
  • 2 cups fresh pineapple, chopped
  • 4 cups filtered water
  • 24 tablespoons sugar or agave syrup (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice

Instructions

  1. Wash strawberries under running water, remove tops, and slice them in half. Prepare pineapple by cutting off the top and bottom, peeling it, and chopping into chunks.
  2. In a blender, combine strawberries, pineapple chunks, and 2 cups of water. Add sugar or agave syrup to taste. Blend until smooth (about 30 seconds).
  3. Strain the mixture through a fine sieve or cheesecloth into a large pitcher to remove pulp.
  4. Squeeze in lime juice and stir well. Adjust sweetness if needed.
  5. Chill in the refrigerator for at least one hour before serving over ice and garnishing with fruit slices.
