  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 cups peeled and thinly sliced apples
  • ½ cup salted caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until combined.
  3. Stir in the flour until crumbly. Press two-thirds of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  4. In another bowl, toss sliced apples with cinnamon and nutmeg; spread over the crust.
  5. Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the apples and sprinkle remaining crumble mixture on top.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and apples are tender.
  7. Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
