Ingredients
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 3 cups peeled and thinly sliced apples
- ½ cup salted caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix melted butter, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until combined.
- Stir in the flour until crumbly. Press two-thirds of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
- In another bowl, toss sliced apples with cinnamon and nutmeg; spread over the crust.
- Drizzle salted caramel sauce over the apples and sprinkle remaining crumble mixture on top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes until golden brown and apples are tender.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
