Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ¼ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup unsalted butter (melted)
- 24 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup sour cream
- 3 cups peeled and sliced apples
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar (for caramel sauce)
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter (for caramel sauce)
- ½ cup heavy cream (for caramel sauce)
- 1 tsp sea salt (for caramel sauce)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter; press into the bottom of a springform pan and bake for 10 minutes. Let cool.
- Mix sliced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and flour; layer over cooled crust.
- Beat cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth; add eggs one at a time. Mix in vanilla and sour cream. Pour over apples.
- Bake for 60–70 minutes until set; cool completely before refrigerating for at least four hours.
- For caramel sauce, melt sugar until amber, stir in butter, then cream and salt.
