- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup diced jalapeños (fresh or pickled)
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or grease a loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper; mix until well combined.
- In another bowl, mix together cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and jalapeños.
- Press half of the meat mixture into the bottom of your prepared pan. Spread the cheese mixture over the first layer and top with the remaining meat mixture, sealing edges.
- Brush barbecue sauce over the top and bake for about 60 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C). Let rest before slicing.
