  • 4 slices of sourdough or whole grain bread
  • 8 ounces of brie cheese, sliced
  • 1 medium apple (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 4 tablespoons softened butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional for drizzling)
  • fresh thyme (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by slicing the brie cheese and apple.
  2. Spread softened butter on one side of each slice of bread. On the unbuttered side of two slices, layer brie cheese, apple slices, and cranberry sauce.
  3. Top with remaining bread slices (buttered side up).
