Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef (or ground turkey)

- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 cans kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can pinto beans, drained and rinsed
- 2–3 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Sauté onion and bell pepper in a large pot over medium heat until softened. Add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- Add ground beef (or turkey) to the pot; cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, kidney beans, and pinto beans. Mix well.
- Season with chili powder, cumin, paprika, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper.
- Bring to a gentle boil; reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes to an hour.
