  • 10 pounds baby back beef ribs
  • 1 cup yellow mustard
  • 1 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2/3 cup ketchup
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup drippings from oven-cooked ribs

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dry rub by mixing all dry ingredients in a bowl.
  2. Coat each rack of beef ribs generously with the dry rub and wrap tightly in heavy-duty aluminum foil.
  3. Refrigerate the wrapped ribs overnight.
  4. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the ribs in foil for about 2 hours, rotating halfway through.
  5. For the "Secret Sauce," combine cooking drippings with mustard, ketchup, vinegar, garlic, and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  6. Preheat your grill to 450°F (232°C), baste ribs with sauce, and grill bone-side down until caramelized.
