  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup fresh blackberries
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)
  • Balsamic glaze, for drizzling (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thickness and place it on a parchment-lined baking tray or pizza stone.
  2. Spread ricotta cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a border for the crust; season with salt and pepper.
  3. Arrange fresh blackberries on top of the ricotta layer. Optionally sprinkle mozzarella cheese over them.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the assembled pizza for added richness. Bake for 12–15 minutes until the crust is golden brown and crispy.
