- 1/2 French baguette
- Fresh basil leaves
- 1/4 cup white apple vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon honey or agave nectar
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided
- Kosher salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the dressing by whisking together white apple vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey (or agave), dried basil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Gradually add olive oil until combined.
- Season the top sirloin steak generously with salt and pepper. Grill on medium-high heat for about 5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Allow to rest before slicing.
