Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons neutral oil
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili flakes
  • Optional garnish: chopped green onions and cilantro

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together lime juice, oil, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, chili flakes, and cilantro to create the marinade.
  2. Place chicken in a resealable bag or shallow dish; pour marinade over it and coat well. Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F). Ensure grates are clean and lightly oiled.
